All states including California, Oregon & Washington State. Section 18 of the OSHA act of 1970 empowers states to manage and operate their own job safety and health programs. OSHA may approve these plans, which provide up to 50% of the approved plan's operating costs. There are 26 states with approved plans. These plans have met and exceeded federal OSHA requirements regarding the operation of powered industrial trucks.
All state regulations, if applicable, will be included in your forklift training manuals. If you want to have a truly compliant forklift training and Certification kit, make sure that the training is state compliant.
